Fall season in Brazil is our spring. We used that cooler temperature to host another Kids Day Camp. We invited a local foster care center to bring there kids. Two large vans brought us 22 children from the age of 6 to 13 years and 4 adults for supervision..

Our owned staff of 4 people trained to handle such a large group were added to the day event. The day started with an introduction to the land with an explanation of the fauna and flora by our resident botanist. We prepared several stops on this nature hike with tree planting ceremonies that was performed by the kids.

The group continued to say hallo to our resident horse ‘Snow”and each kid greeted the horse with a carrot offering. Snow was very happy about that.

We served lunch to the Sitio guests from the foster care center. Afterwards we retired to the barn where the kids were able to play games, draw pictures of the leaves and plants they had collected on the nature walk. We continued with some outdoors games.
Before the group headed back to town we had a farewell ceremony including a donation of cash and art material to the foster care facility.
